
Mr. Herrin's class is celebrating their “G” day of the Second Grade countdown by playing games today! Students could bring in their own games to play and have fun with friends! Lots of intense Uno games going around today!








Here are some snapshots of Mr. Herrin's second-grade class marking their countdown with "Nice Note Day" for the letter 'N'! Today, they took the opportunity to circulate around the classroom, offering adjectives to describe their friends. Additionally, each student crafted heartfelt handwritten notes to share with both their peers and the staff here at Pine Crest!

Students in Miss Stephenson's class expanded on skills they've learned throughout the year, such as adding decimals, in this Grocery Budget activity.
Students were extremely engaged and were able to apply their knowledge to a real world scenario!

The countdown to Second Grade ending continues with the letter “O.” We were able to enjoy Outside Activities with our classmates! Mr. Herrin organized a game of kickball, Mrs. Esteppe taught students how to play elbow tag and Mrs. Davis led potato sack races and parachute fun!

🌭Lunch on the Lawn is this Thursday and Friday. Please choose one day to eat lunch with your child(ren). Try to avoid going to Subway and McDonalds on these days as parents experienced extreme delays last year and missed the lunch periods. 📖There will also be a Paper Pie Book Fair in the Library on these days to kick off our Summer Reading Bash! The Book Fair is open 8-1 Thursday and Friday!📕📙📒📗📘

Two Quarter Tuesday tomorrow at Pine Crest!


The countdown to Second Grade ending continues today! Today was the letter “E.” Students were able to enjoy extra, extra recess! Unfortunately with the amount of rain we have had, we weren’t able to spend time outside, but we made the best of it and played games with friends!





2nd grade students started their countdown to Second Grade ending! Today was the letter “S.” We had special guest readers read stories outside to us! Huge thank you to Mrs. Attutis, Miss Kennedy and Mrs. Hughett! We appreciate you taking time out of your day to read to us!

Tomorrow, the 3rd-grade Famous Americans Wax Museum will take place. It opens to the public at 12:30. We hope to see you there!
