
The Red Tail Ranch, a not-for-profit organization focusing on education about native plants and pollinators, delivered National Geographic butterfly lifecycle kits to four classrooms at Pine Crest Elementary. Dr. Cat Eads, GRF Director of Student Services, and President of the Red Tail Ranch, delivered the kits and a check to have the caterpillars delivered to each classroom.





GRFC Girls Track meet at PBL tonight has been canceled due to weather.


Reminder! There is a scheduled School Improvement Day, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 with an 11:15 dismissal.


The GRHS Student Council wants to thank those who participated in this year's Egg My Yard Fundraiser. It was a great success! If anyone has eggs that they would like to donate to the High School, we would happily take them to use again for next year. Thanks again for supporting the GRHS Student Council!

The MMJH Track Meet scheduled for Wednesday, April 3 at Bismarck has been cancelled. We will post when/if the event is rescheduled. We look forward to seeing our Panthers run again on Monday, April 8 at Salt Fork High School!

Good Morning! On Monday, April 8, 2024, there will be a SOLAR ECLIPSE. School will be in session and teachers will conduct eclipse learning activities. The district has purchased glasses for students and staff to view the event. If parents plan to keep student(s) home for a partial or full day, the absence will be excused so you can view the eclipse as a family. Happy viewing!

At the Illinois Top Times Indoor Track Meet last Friday, Haley Carlton medaled in the pole vault. Jack Cody set a PR in the 60m high hurdles as well. Great job you two! We expect great things from these two and the rest of the GRFC track team in the outdoor season.

The GRF Archery team competes in the Illinois State Tournament today and Saturday at Champaign Central High School. Good Luck Archers!


The Buffs Baseball Team plays there home opener today against Saint Thomas More. First pitch is at 4:30. Good Luck boys!


Mrs. Thorman and Mrs. Douglass's 4th graders kicked off March Madness with a stem project! They built catapults to launch basketballs, then redesigned until they were able to make a basket! They had a mini tournament at the end to show off their skills!
