Mrs. Davis’s 2nd graders took time to partner read the text, “How Do You Know It’s Fall?” Students are working hard to answer the essential question of; How does change impact people and nature?
The GRF-W soccer team is kicking it off against the Blue Ridge Knights on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
The GRFC Buffaloes are defending Georgetown against the Clifton Central Comets on Saturday. Kickoff is at 1 PM.

The Georgetown Ridge Farm Westville soccer team face off against OSF at 4:30 at Oakwood Grade School.
The Lady Buffs volleyball team travels to Paris to take on the Tigers. JV at 6pm and varsity follows. The only Volleyball game this week for the Lady Buffs so come out to support them!!!

Ms. Higgins's General Science classes have been learning about chemical reactions and had fun today mixing baking soda and vinegar to see the reaction. We also learned about precipitates and mixed vinegar with skim milk and whole milk to see if one produced more pricipitate (curds) than the other.
The MMJH Girls Basketball Parent Meeting has been rescheduled. Please join us tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30pm in the MMJH Cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you there!
