Kayne the Morgan and Dierks Lewis bring the news about the events that occurred at GRHS over this week. Such a crazy week going from like 3 inches or so of snow and now temps in the 70s.

Some of our FFA members have been busy these last few days...
On Wednesday night they were at Lincoln Land Community College for a Dairy Foods CDE!
Yesterday they traveled from Georgetown, IL to Georgetown, Ky to visit Kentuckiana Standardbred Horse Farm, then on to the North American International Livestock Expo Rodeo!
On the horse farm they got the chance to meet the owner and learn about his humble beginnings to having many champions, Horse of the Year, and selling the only two, Million dollar yearlings in history!
Today they go to NAILE at the Kentucky Expo Center & Fairgrounds to see the livestock and do some shopping!

With Monday supposedly being the 67th day of school, the GRHS staff were going to turn it on the kids and make it a 6-7 day. The e-learning day messed that up, but the staff decided to go ahead and do it today. Unfortunately, we lost audio in most of the clips, but hopefully you can enjoy it.

Please join us on Wednesday, November 19 for an Archery Parent Meeting at 6:00 in the Pine Crest Gymnasium. This is for any parent/guardian of 4-12th graders interested in participating in archery this season. We look forward to seeing you there!
I had a question this morning about building dismissal times, so I am sharing our dismissal procedures. We have an 11:15 dismissal today. The buildings operate on a 5-minute staggered dismissal time. Pine Crest Dismissal is at 11:15, Mary Miller Junior High School Dismissal is at 11:20, and Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School is at 11:25.
