GRF's Got Talent was two weeks ago, but here are the performances from the top places in the talent show. This recording came from the assembly the day after the talent show. The students from MMJH and GRHS got to show off in front of everyone from both schools. Everyone did a fantastic job and we can't wait to see what next year brings. I chose Mr Sliva as my mentor because he always shows kindness to the students no matter who it is whether it’s just stopping kids in the hall to tell them how great they did in their sporting event or just starting conversation about some things you both enjoy. Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Taylor have both played a huge role in inspiring my love for math. Mrs. Kelly’s patience and ability to explain complex problems in simple terms made even the toughest topics feel achievable. Her encouragement pushed me to keep going, even when I doubted myself. Mrs. Taylor, on the other hand, has a passion for math that is contagious. She makes the subject fun by connecting it to real-world scenarios, and her enthusiasm makes me excited to learn. Both teachers have shown me that with hard work and a positive attitude, I can conquer any challenge.
