The GRHS boys basketball team are kicking off the 2024-2025 season tonight against the Blue Streaks at Martinsville. JV will start at 6PM with varsity following. Come out to support the Buffaloes. Buffalo Nation, Lets Ride!
Here are the events at GRHS for the week of November 25th - December 1st. On Tuesday, due to the holiday, Pine Crest will have a 1:40 pm dismissal, MMJH -1:45 pm and GRHS - 1:50 pm.. There will be no school on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday due to Thanksgiving. Have a great week!

Savannah helped a friend in need, she was calm and gentle with a younger friend who needed her guidance and did a wonderful job.
Paxton was kind to another friend and gave up his ball to another student and He cleaned up a mess that was not his without being asked to do so.
They received book coins for being kind and being helpers
Nolla received a token for the book vending machine. She is very helpful in the gym. If someone drops or spills anything she offers to help clean the spill .

Oh no, don’t eat me! Thanksgiving is next week, and Tom Turkey is very scared and does not want to be caught for Thanksgiving dinner!
Students in Mr. Herrin’s class worked on disguising a Tom Turkey so he would not get caught. Students had fun working on the turkey with their families at home and showed their creativity in the disguises. Lots of good disguises this year!
This is a reminder for our schedule next week. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 is a 1:40 p.m. dismissal. There is no school Wednesday, November 27th - Friday, November 29th, 2024. School will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
The food pantry is fully stocked and available. If you have a student that attends Georgetown Ridge farm District, you can come to the pantry between 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock today. You may check in through the high school front doors. Thank you.
