The GRHS Band is selling Spirit Wear to raise money for their Disney trip next year. These items are not specific to the band and are perfect for anyone who loves our Buffaloes! Another bonus is that almost all items come in youth sizes so even the younger fans can show their school spirit. The shop closes September 22nd.

The Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District will have an E-Learning Day on Monday, October 23, 2023 to ensure all students' technology, google classrooms, and seesaw platforms are operational at home. If your child's computer or technology platforms are not working properly that day, please contact the Director of Curriculum and Technology, Mr. Eisenbarth, at teisenbarth@gobuffaloes.org or by phone at 217-662-8488. Thank you and have a good weekend!
Mrs. Esteppe’s second grade class completed an art lesson about primary and secondary colors. This tied in nicely with paintings and art work they have been examining in their reading series. Students chose 2 primary colors, and mixed them to make a secondary color. Those colors were used to paint pumpkins that they drew. After the lesson students were curious about the outcome of mixing secondary colors, and the lesson was expanded to learn about tertiary colors!
During a Wit & Wisdom lesson, Mrs. Davis’s 2nd graders are working together to identify the “bag and buttons” to a chapter assigned to them from the text they are working on. The bag represents the main idea of the text, while the buttons are the supporting details.
Mrs. Cosat's students are learning how to work with a partner.
